Flexitec 2020 Resin Accelerator

Res-Tec's Winter Accelerators are an important product to keep in stock when using the Flexitec 2020 in cold temperatures.

What are Winter Accelerators?

This Accelerator essentially is a little pot of turbo charged Primer that speeds up the pot life and cure time of the Primer in cold weather. The Winter Accelerator is added to a tin of Primer and stirred in before adding the usual amount of catalyst. IMPORTANT - Accelerators are not a replacement for catalyst or powder hardener!

When should it be used?

If the temperature is between 1°C and 5°C Winter Accelerators must be used to ensure the laminate will fully cure. If the temperature is between 5°C and 10°C Winter Accelerator may be used to speed up cure time and pot life for a quicker installation.

Coverage: One 300g pot will be sufficient for 10kg of Resin 

Winter accelerators are not recommended for temperatures above 10°C.
